This LED PAR38 reflector shares the same toughened glass body and prismatic lens as the 110W incandescent light bulbs it's designed to replace, even though it only requires 13W to produce the same brightness and quality of light. Features a ES-E27 Edison screw (27mm) base/cap.
The light bulb's body is constructed from a toughened glass shell that protects all of the electronics and internal components from light knocks and abrasions. The light bulb itself is IP65 rated which makes it ideal for a range of domestic and commercial applications both inside and out. The prismatic design of the light bulb's lens ensures that light output is distributed evenly within a 30° beam angle. Glare is kept to a minimum, while focus and intensity are increased for cleaner, more effective results. The familiar aesthetics and comparable light output of this LED PAR38 reflector light bulb make it an ideal, albeit far superior replacement for your power hungry incandescent reflectors. It uses a fraction of the energy and lasts upwards of 15,000 hours, which is a huge improvement on the 1,000 hour rating of these older light bulbs. Such a marked improvement in longevity and efficiency can ultimately reduce your lighting bill by up to 90% - all from a light bulb that looks no different to your old ones.
This PAR38 Reflector is a newer product from Crompton Lamps and supersedes their old PAR38 Reflector part codes: P3880B.
Please note that even though the light bulb itself is IP65 rated, it must be used in a suitable IP65 rated socket in order for it to be used outside safely.

If you should purchase an LED light bulb from Lightbulbs Direct and have it fail, break or develop a fault at any point within the timeline stated above from the date of purchase, we will happily replace the item or offer a full refund, depending on your wishes.
In instances where large numbers of bulbs fail within a relatively short period of time, we may ask you to return them to us so that they can undergo testing to identify any potential issues.

What doesn't our warranty cover?
In any instance where your bulb has developed a fault, we will do our utmost to replace it or offer a full refund (provided the item is still within its stated warranty period). However, if it becomes apparent that the product has been misused, tampered with or modified in any way, we will view this as having voided its warranty.
'Misuse" includes, but is not limited to, incorrect operation by the user, use of non-dimmable bulbs on a dimmable circuit or connection to or operation with an unsuitable power supply. 'Tampering' or 'modification' can be interpreted as any activity designed to alter the product in such a way that it can be used in a manner that wasn't intended by its original design. This can include rewiring, removing plugs, home repairs or changing components. Unfortunately, we won't be able to replace any item that has undergone any such process.
