CHRISTMAS DELIVERY INFORMATION

 

Don’t get left in the dark this Christmas. Check below to find out the last day you can order to receive your order before Christmas. Dates may be subject to unforeseen changes, so please do check back as the delivery cut-off approaches.

Please note that our warehouse will be closed from on Friday 22nd December until Wednesday 2nd January. Any order placed between the 22nd of December and the 1st of January will not be despatched until the 3rd or 4th of January.

For deliveries over 1.5kg to the Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland, off-shore destinations and express services, please contact our sales office for a quotation.

Last postage dates for mainland UK

Standard Delivery - 12 pm Tuesday 18th December*

*Any order placed for an in-stock item by 12 pm Tuesday 18th December will be dispatched by standard Royal Mail in time for their last postage cut off. Whilst this does not guarantee you Christmas delivery, as long as there are no delays with the postal service then your order should be with you in time for Christmas.

Next Day Delivery - 1 pm Thursday 20th December*

*Any order placed for an in-stock item by 1 pm Thursday 20th December will be dispatched for delivery on Friday 21st December.

Orders Placed After Christmas Delivery Deadlines

Our warehouse will be closed from on Friday 22nd December until Wednesday 2nd January. Any order placed after the delivery deadlines above will not be despatched until the 3rd or 4th of January.

Please note that our next day service will be suspended from 1 pm Thursday 20th December until Wednesday 2nd January.

Most orders received by noon (Monday to Friday) are usually dispatched on the same day and the vast majority within 48 hours of receipt, subject to stock availability. To check the status of your order, please see the My Orders page. Orders are delivered by the most appropriate method, usually first class post or courier. Orders should generally be delivered within 2 or 3 working days of the dispatch date, but this is not guaranteed. Please note that Royal Mail post may take up to 15 working days for delivery. Until this period is over, we are unable to replace or refund orders sent by standard delivery.

Whilst we aim to meet the delivery times quoted above at all times, during busy periods deliveries may take a little longer. Occasionally tech updates to our systems or force majeure events, such as extreme weather conditions, will mean that certain delivery services aren’t available, or that order cut-off times need amending and/or delivery times need to be extended. However, we will always work hard to keep these disruptions to a minimum.

Please ensure that you provide a delivery address where someone will be available between 9.00 and 17.00 Monday to Friday to accept delivery. If our couriers are unable to deliver an order due to the address being unmanned, a card will be left asking you to contact them directly to arrange re-delivery. If no contact is made within 2 days the order will be returned to us and a re-delivery charge will be levied to cover our re-delivery costs.

If delivery is delayed excessively, we will do out utmost to inform you as soon as possible. We are happy to give you the option of purchasing alternative items or receiving a full refund of any payments that you have made. If we are unable to deliver within 28 days of ordering, we will always give you the option of receiving a full refund of any payments made.
