This white coloured fluorescent T8 tube light bulb has been coated with a Our shatterproof protective sleeve/coating which is IEC 61549 compliant and is identified with a dual green band. The sleeve encompasses the tube making it essential for use in environments where you may be concerned about the possible costly consequences that a broken tube could cause.

This 5ft 58W T8 triphosphor shatterproof fluorescent tube provides a superior quality of light, with greater energy efficiency and a longer life. Unlike a standard tube, triphosphor tubes retain their high quality of output throughout their lifetime.

With uniformly good colour rendering illuminating objects in their natural light, these tubes are ideal for shop lighting, as well as for high-quality lighting in the office and home.

Fitted with a standard sized G13 2-pin (13mm apart) caps to both ends.

NB This replaces the older, less efficient Halophosphate tube.
