Mercury 1 Gang IP66 Outdoor Socket, manufactured from a tough and durable thermoplastic and tested and certified to appropriate British Standards, is ideal for and external uses including garden and patio applications.

Designed especially for use in an outdoor environment, such as for use with decking or patio lighting, or one in which the socket may be exposed to the potentially harmful effects of dust or water. The factory fitted soft gel seal fits snugly around power cables to maintain the IP66 rating in use with the lid fully closed - ensuring total protection from dust and protection against powerful water jets, conforming to BS1363, EN60529.

The Mercury 1 gand outdoor IP66 socket features 3x25mm easy to remove knockouts for cable entries.
