Ordering on-line

Ordering on line is fast and easy either using our unique BulbFinder system or via your personalised list in the My Bulbs section. Simply add the products that you need to your on-line shopping basket and select the appropriate quantity. Payment can then be made using virtually any major credit or debit card via our fully secure payment gateway provided by SagePay. We can also accept payment by cheque from a UK bank account.

Minimum Order Value

Please note that our minimum order value for online orders is £9.00 plus delivery and VAT. Minimum value for purchase orders £50.00 + VAT.

Government Departments, Local Authorities and Schools

We are pleased to accept official purchase orders from public bodies in the UK. Please ensure that you include a contact name, phone number and preferably also an e-mail address on your order.
NOTE: Minimum order value £50.00 + VAT for purchase orders.

Delivery Charges

Please note that all prices shown on this web site exclude delivery charges (£3.45 or free for orders over £40 - UK mainland only) and VAT at 17.5% which must be added to all orders. Some items, particularly long fluorescent tubes, are subject to a higher charge of £8.50 plus VAT per order to cover additional courier costs. If this applies this is itemised in the shopping basket. This charge also applies to orders over £40.

Please note we that are unable to accept orders for delivery outside the UK.

Delivery

Most orders received by noon (Monday to Friday) are usually despatched on the same day and the vast majority within 48 hours of receipt, subject to stock availability. To check the status of your order, please see the My Orders page. Orders are delivered by the most appropriate method, usually first class post or courier. Orders should generally be delivered within 1 or 2 working days of the despatch date. Please note that Royal Mail post may take up to 15 working days for delivery.

If you require an order to be delivered urgently, please contact us to make the necessary arrangements.

If delivery is delayed excessively, we will always give you the option of purchasing alternative items or of receiving a full refund of any payments that you have made. If we are unable to deliver within 28 days of ordering, we will always give you the option of receiving a full refund of any payments made.

Delivery charges quoted are for UK mainland destinations only using our standard delivery methods. For deliveries over 1.5kg to the Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland, off-shore destinations and express services, please contact our sales office for a quotation.

Please note that most orders weighing in excess of approximately 1.5 kg and any valuable deliveries are delivered by courier and will require a signature on delivery. Please ensure that you provide a delivery address where someone will be available between 9.00 and 17.00 Monday to Friday to accept delivery. If our couriers are unable to deliver an order due to the address being unmanned, a card will be left asking you to contact them directly to arrange re-delivery. If no contact is made within 2 days the order will be returned to us and a re-delivery charge will be levied to cover our re-delivery costs.
