How were my savings calculated?
The energy costs shown are based upon a typical domestic electricity tarrif of 10p per unit. Carbon savings are calculated using an average output of carbon dioxide per kilowatt hour of electricity generated. This is based upon the typical mix of coal, gas, nuclear and other generating capacity currently used in the UK.
I don't pay VAT, why is it on my basket?
If you live in the Channel Islands and are having your order delivered there then we do not have to charge VAT on your order.
When checking out, please ensure that the address and postcode are correct and the VAT will then be removed automatically before your final order total is calculated.
Why is there a minimum basket total?
We cannot accept orders below the minimum basket total since smaller orders may not cover our payment card processing and order administration costs. This applies to both online and telephone orders.
