Constructed from a tough and durable polycarbonate, tested and certified to appropriate British Standards, the Zink 2 Gang 13A IP66 Socket with built in RCD is ideal for outdoor applications.

This double socket is designed specifically for use in an outdoor environment, or one in which the protection provided by the IP66 range is required, such as outdoor lighting, outdoor heating or where wiring accessories may be exposed to the potentially harmful effects of dust or water.

The factory fitted soft gel seal fits snugly around power cables to maintain the IP66 rating in use with the lid fully closed - ensuring total protection from dust and protection against powerful water jets.

The 13A single switched socket features multiple easy to remove 20mm cable entry knockouts. The 20mm cable entry knockouts can be easily removed by pushing out from the inside of the back box.

Another clever feature of this outdoor socket is a lockable lid. A fixing point allows a padlock to be fitted to the enclosure to prevent unauthorised use.

The built in RCD has a trip current of 30mA and a trip speed of 100ms.
