Yesterday (June 3rd 2014), the supervisory board of Osram, in agreement with Dr Peter Laier, approved the termination of his appointment as a member of the managing board of Osram from 30th June 2014.
Dr Laier will leave the managing board regarding the management and direction of the business.
Until a successor has been determined, Mr Wolfgang Dehen as chairman of the managing board and Dr Klaus Patzak as chief financial officer will assume the tasks of Dr Laier.
Peter Laier joined the Osram group on the 1st of January 2013. He held the position of chief technology officer at Osram and as such has been responsible for research and development, supply chain management as well as quality and technology.
