Reflector Spotlight Bulbs

Reflector lights contain many tiny reflective surfaces around the bulb aperture, which help to focus and direct its beam of light much more efficiently. It means they emit a bright, intense light that is perfectly suited to task lighting. For a long time, halogen reflectors were the most common type, until they fell under the remit of an EU ban and were superseded by LED reflectors. These bulbs offer the same brightness as their halogen counterparts but use only a fraction of the energy to do so. Denoted by their size in mm, they are commonly known as R39, R50, R63, R64, R80 or in 1/8 inch sizes PAR20, PAR30 and PAR38.
